The No. 3 Oregon Ducks (4-0, 1-0 Pac-12) and the Stanford Cardinal (2-2, 1-1 Pac-12) square off on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Stanford Stadium in a clash of Pac-12 opponents. Oregon struggled with winless Arizona last Saturday at Autzen stadium but was ultimately able to pull away in the fourth quarter to win 41-19. Stanford was projected to finish fifth in the PAC-12 north but have surprised a few, defeating USC three weeks ago and playing respectable against #20 UCLA last week losing 35-24. The Cardinal have played spoiler to great Oregon teams in the past but if Oregon wants to continue on the College Football Playoff pathway they must beat their Bay Area foe.
