Houston Takes Sole Possession of AFC South as Fuller, Hopkins Torch Colts
With the AFC South lead on the line, Colts-Texans did not disappoint on Thursday Night Football.
The two teams started slow, but the Texans produced big plays throughout the night. Will Fuller V caught passes of 44 and 51 en route to 140 receiving yards in his first game back in over a month.
Not to be outdone, DeAndre Hopkins caught touchdown passes of 35 and 30 yards on his way to six catches, 94 yards and both Texans touchdowns.
A week after being bludgeoned and beaten down by Baltimore, Deshaun Watson rebounded nicely against Indianapolis. The Clemson product threw for 298 yards, two TDs and a pick.
Despite scoring 17 points, the Colts offense never felt like it found a rhythm. Jacoby Brissett only passed for 129 yards, but he did run in a touchdown. However, Jonathan Williams ran 26 times for 104 yards and a TD in place of the injured Marlon Mack.
With the win, the Texans lead the Colts in the AFC South by a game.
