Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard will be in the NBA’s 3-Point Contest next month, according to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes.

While LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo and others aren’t interested in the NBA All-Star Game, it appears Lillard understands the “why” of it all.
“There’s repercussions for us not [having an All-Star Game],” Lillard stated last week. “It could be something negative for us not going along with that. If that’s what we’re going to do, I’m with it. But if we’re not, I’m fine with that, too.”
As it stands, the 3-Point Contest and the Skills Competition will be before the All-Star Game in Atlanta. Meanwhile, the Dunk Contest will be at halftime of the game.
All four events will be on March 7.
