Gronkowski Traded to Bucs, Reunites with Brady

Rob Gronkowski is back, and he’ll be catching passes from Tom Brady once again.

The retired tight end is returning to the NFL, and has been traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per Adam Schefer:

Trade, pending physical: Patriots are trading TE Rob Gronkowski and a seventh-round pick to the Buccaneers for a fourth-round pick, source tells ESPN.

The move had reportedly been a possibility for a while, with Gronk saying he wasn’t “totally done playing” football. It was also rumored that he only wanted to play with Brady.

Now he gets his wish.
