Too soon?

The Blazers seized a commanding 3-1 series lead on the Oklahoma City Thunder after Sunday’s 111-98 win, Portland’s first playoff road win since 2016.  The Blazers have never lost a series in which they’ve led 2-games-to-none, and since 1995 there have been 7 teams that have rallied from 3-1 series deficits to come back and win the series.

Saying it’s too soon to assume a series win is one of the options on our Poll, but let’s be honest, there is no way this OKC team wins three straight games against the Blazers, let alone twice in Moda Center, a place where they’ve shot a combined 10-for-61 from three-point range.

Once the Blazers win the series, they will face the winner of 2-seed Denver Nuggets and the 7-seed San Antonio Spurs.  That series is tied 2-2 with each team alternating victories.  Game Five is Tuesday in Denver (6:30, NBA TV).

The Nuggets have more talent but are much less experienced than the savvy playoff-laden San Antonio Spurs roster led by Gregg Popovich, Demar DeRozan, and of course, former Trail Blazer great LaMarcus Aldridge.

So, we ask you: Who do you want the Blazers to face in Round Two?  Or is it too soon? Vote here:
