The second round is here as the 3-seed Trail Blazers visit the 2-seed Denver Nuggets for Games 1 and 2 of the Western Conference semifinals on Monday and Wednesday this week, before returning to Portland for Games 3 and 4 on Friday and Sunday, respectively.

The Blazers will have had five full days off between games after taking down Oklahoma City in the first round, capped by Damian Lillard’s heroic 37-footer to cap a 15-point fourth-quarter comeback to win game five and win series. The Nuggets will have had fewer than 48 hours after being pushed to 7 games by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round, winning game seven 90-86 on Saturday night.

The Nuggets won 3 out of 4 games from the Blazers in the regular season, though Denver outscored Portland by a combined 6 points in those head-to-head match ups.
