Mario Cristobal and the No.15 Oregon Ducks prepare to battle Montana at Autzen Stadium.

A week after throwing five touchdowns against Nevada, Justin Herbert took up where he left off, leading a touchdown drive the first time he touched the ball, ending with a 5-yard score to tight end Jacob Breeland.

Oregon’s defense held Montana scoreless in the first half, forcing punts on the Grizzlies first 4 possessions.

Justin Herbert flung a pair of touchdowns to Jacob Breeland to stake Oregon to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter.

Oregon’s wide receivers were paced by Johnny Johnson III, who had two touchdown catches, the first coming just before halftime to make it 21-0 Ducks. Johnson III finished with 8 catches for 76 yards, both team-highs, in addition to the two scores.

The game’s most iconic play was Herbert’s touchdown to Johnson with 21 seconds left in the first half. Herbert evaded pressure in the pocket, shredding a would-be sack, and found JJ3 for the score.

Jordon Scott and the Ducks defense held Montana to just 8 yards rushing for the game.

Highly-touted freshman Kayvon Thibodeaux did not record a tackle for loss or a sack, but did make two tackles in the win. Oregon had 4 sacks and 5 TFL’s as a unit..

Redshirt freshman Bryan Addison was one of 12 different Ducks receivers to record a catch in the win.

Senior point guard Payton Pritchard displays his Pac-12 Tournament championship ring. The Oregon men’s basketball team was recognized at halftime for their outstanding 2018-19 season that saw them win the Pac 12 Tournament as a six-seed, make the NCAA Tournament as a 12-seed, and earn another trip to the Sweet Sixteen.

As is becoming tradition, senior linebacker Troy Dye was all smiles and all dancin’ during “SHOUT” between the third and fourth quarter.

Mario Cristobal and the Ducks improve to 2-1 on the season. They open Pac-12 conference play on Sat., Sept. 21st at the Stanford Cardinal (4pm ESPN).
