Former Stanford DB, Hops Baseball Player Zach Hoffpauir Passes Away

Zach Hoffpauir, the former Stanford DB who also was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks and spent two stints with the Hillsboro Hops, has passed away at the age of 26:

Most recently, Hoffpauir was hired as the defensive backs coach by former Stanford teammate Christian McCaffrey at Northern Colorado.

The medical examiner’s report is not yet complete and does not yet list a cause of death.
