The former backup quarterback to Russell Wilson returns to the Seattle Seahawks, but not as a player.
Austin Davis, who played 4 seasons in the NFL with the Rams and Seahawks, has joiend the coaching staff as an offensive assistant.
Davis, 29, played for the Seahawks in 2017 and played in 3 regular reason games. He started 8 games in the 2015 for the St Louis Rams when he threw 12 touchdowns against 9 interceptions.

The team also promoted David Stricklin to head athletic trainer, replacing Donald Rich. Stricklin has been with the Seahawks since 2010 as an assistant athletic trainer, and before that was an athletic trainer at Oregon State.
