Former Portland Trail Blazer Frye Announces Retirement

Congratulations to Channing Frye, who announced that he is retiring at the end of the season after 13 years in the NBA:

Yes, i am really retiring. It’s been a amazing ride. I’ve had the chance to have some amazing teammates and play for some great coaches. I’m gonna miss it but I’m super excited to see the other side of the fence!

Frye played with the Portland Trail Blazers from 2007-2009, averaging 5.6 points and 3.5 rebounds a night. He remains a fan favorite for the way he embraced the city. He still owns a home in Portland and can be found in the offseason out and about in various Portland hot spots. Enjoy retirement, Channing!
