The NFL announced today, former University of Oregon Defensive End DeForest Buckner of the San Francisco 49ers will make his first Pro Bowl appearance. The third-year defensive lineman had 12 sacks this season and will replace Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, who injured his foot in Sunday’s loss to the New Orleans Saints. Buckner started all 16 games this season and had the most sacks for a 49er since Aldon Smith’s 19.5 in 2012.
