Ducks to face North Carolina in Holiday Bowl

The Oregon Ducks are set to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Holiday Bowl on Wednesday, December 28, at Petco Park. That game will take place at 5 p.m. on Fox.

The Ducks finished the regular season at 9-3 overall and 7-2 in conference play, and came in at No. 15 in the final College Football Playoff rankings released on Sunday.

North Carolina finished 9-4 on the season.

Oregon will make its fourth appearance in the Holiday Bowl, and first since a 42-31 win over Oklahoma State in 2008. The Ducks also beat Texas in the 2000 Holiday Bowl, and lost to Oklahoma in 2005.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Oregon and North Carolina.
