Ducks RB Noah Whittington Expected To Miss Remainder Of Season

Oregon Ducks running back Noah Whittington is expected to miss the remainder of the season according to head coach Dan Lanning.

Whittington suffered a leg injury against Colorado back in Week 4. There was initial optimism that Whittington could come back in a few weeks, but Lanning was asked about Whittington on Wednesday if Whittington is expected to play again this season.

“I don’t think that’s probably gonna be the case, no.”

A big loss for the Ducks as they enter their bye week right before the showdown in Seattle against No. 7 Washington on November 14.

Whittington has been the spell back to Bucky Irving this season. But Whittington has had a great season himself. Averaging over 7 yards a carry and having 20 carries for 146 yards and two touchdowns for the Junior out of Fort Valley, GA.
