The (12) Oregon Ducks looked for an upset down in San Jose against the (5) Wisconsin Badgers today in the 1st round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.  In the first half it was all Payton Pritchard and Louis King for the Ducks.  Pritchard and King combined for 19 of the Ducks 25 points in the 1st half.

The scoring loosened up for Oregon in the second half. Kenny Wooten and Paul White got into the mix, playing some excellent inside-out basketball. Wooten in particular, did a great job on Wisconsin big-man Ethan Happ, holding him to 12 points.

Pritchard finished with 19 points and eight assists. King chipped in 17, and Wooten had nine points, six rebounds, and four blocked shots.

The Ducks advance to take on (13) UC-Irvine, who stunned (4) Kansas State 70-64, on Sunday.
