The news is now out. The Ducks will be heading to the Big 10.
After a year of uncertainty, Oregon will be leaving the Pac 12 and playing in a new conference in 2024.
The Oregon Board of Trustees held an emergency meeting on Friday and in the meeting. In the meeting, University of Oregon president Karl Scholz says UO “is receiving partial shares” from Big Ten. Said the terms are “more generous” than what was available from the Pac-12.
I strong move for the Ducks as it seems like the Pac 12 deal wasn’t good enough for Oregon to stay. A new era of Ducks football starts in 2024.
