Dave Sims To Replace John Sterling In Yankees Radio Booth, Leaving Mariners After 18 Seasons

Dave Sims confirmed the news Thursday night that after 18 seasons calling Mariners games, he is leaving the Pacific Northwest. Sims is joining the radio broadcast for the New York Yankees were he replaces the legendary John Sterling.

Sims appeared Friday on WFAN’s Boomer and Gio, a station where he was once a host in addition to writing at the New York Daily News.

Sims started with Mariners broadcasting in 2007.
