Dante Moore spurns Oregon, commits to UCLA

5-star quarterback Dante Moore won’t be playing in Eugene after all.

The no. 3 player in the class of 2023 is a  is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback from Detroit’s Martin Luther King High School. He led them to a state title earlier this month, and in a four-year high school career as a starter threw for 135 total touchdowns and nearly 10,000 yards.

Moore originally committed to Oregon over the summer, but appeared to waver once offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham left to coach Arizona State, taking a visit with UCLA.

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix announced this weekend that he will return to Eugene for another season next year.
