Cowboys Fly Past Giants Late, Win 37-18

Monday Night Football was more like Monday Night Snoozefest between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants in the first half. However, the Cowboys decided to show up in the second half.
Just before the break, New York led Dallas 12-10. Then, Daniel Jones threw a mind-boggling interception before the halftime whistle. The Cowboys got a field goal and never trailed again.
The teams traded field goals in the third quarter before Dallas erupted in the fourth quarter. Dallas proceeded to outscore the Giants 21-3 in the final frame.
The nail in the New York coffin came from Jourdan Lewis, who ran a fumble back 63 yards with six seconds left to give the Cowboys their final margin of victory, 37-18.
Dallas got another solid performance from their offensive line but especially running back Ezekiel Elliott. The former Ohio State Buckeye ran for 139 yards on 23 carries.
The Cowboys quarterback, Dak Prescott, was serviceable. His final line, 23-of-35 for 257 yards, three touchdowns and one pick, was aided by a pair of 40-plus yard plays that consisted of a lot of yards after catch.
As for the Giants, New York did not get a great performance from their QB-RB tandem of Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley.
The Dallas defense held Jones in check with 26-of-41 for 201 yards, a touchdown and an interception. The Cowboys also bottled up Barkley on the ground; the second-year pro only had 28 rushing yards, but Barkley did get 67 yards through the air.
The win moves Dallas to 5-3, while the Giants fall to 2-7.
