Charles Barkley: The Trail Blazers will go the NBA Finals

The Chuckster made a bold, BOLD, prediction at half time of the Trail Blazers-Thunder game on the TNT broadcast Thursday night.

“Put it on the board.  The Portland Trail Blazers will make the Finals…the NBA Finals!”

The Blazers had a 61-58 lead at the time, and went on to lose in overtime 129-121 to OKC.  As of Friday the Blazers are the 5-seed in the Western Conference with 17 games to play.

Kenny Smith joined Barkley’s Rip City optimism, saying “We are in agreement.  I’m going there with him.”
