Broncos Von Miller Likely Out for Season

The Denver Broncos likely weren’t going to challenge Kansas City in the AFC West. Now, their chances are even smaller.

Former Super Bowl MVP Von Miller injured his ankle in the final play of practice on Tuesday and likely needs season-ending surgery, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Miller will reportedly visit foot and ankle specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Thursday.

Overall, it’s been a rough year for Miller. He also contracted COVID-19 in April.

The Broncos open their 2020 season against Tennessee in the second game of Monday Night Football’s doubleheader.
