Robinson was drafted out of UConn by the Trail Blazers in the second round, thirty-sixth overall, in the 1989 NBA Draft. He played his first eight seasons in Portland of what would become an 18-year NBA career, was the 1992-93 6th man of the year, and made the NBA All-Star Team in the ‘93-‘94 season.
Rest in peace, Uncle Cliffy.
