Portland dominated Charlotte from the opening tip en route to their sixth win in seven games, 127-96. The home team handled the Hornets in nearly every statistical category.

The three Blazer stars, Damian Lillard, Jusuf Nurkic and C.J. McCollum, played 30 or fewer minutes. McCollum carved up Charlotte for 30 points in 29 minutes.

Lillard and Nurkic filled every category in the box score. Lillard cashed in 20 points, dished five assists, snatched four rebounds, and collected four blocks (!!!) and three steals. Nurkic nearly had a triple-double. The Bosnian Beast scored 11 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, gave out eight assists, smacked a career-high six blocks and got one steal.

As a team, the Blazers collected 47 rebounds and handed out 31 assists on 52 made shots. With Nurkic and Lillard’s 10 combined blocks, Portland blocked 16 total shots–Meyers Leonard with three, Zach Collins with two and even Gary Trent Jr. had one. The home squad also finished with 10 steals.

Portland heads out for a two-game road trip starting with Sunday in Denver against the Western Conference leading Nuggets.
