Beavs Men Blowout Utah, 74-56

Ethan Thompson’s big night helped the Beavers send Utah home with a loss on Thursday night to give Oregon State their seventh Pac-12 win of the season.

The senior scored 25 points, dished out eight assists, grabbed five rebounds and also snagged four steals and two blocks.

Thompson wasn’t alone, however, as Warith Alatishe also filled the stat sheet. The junior collected 19 points, nine rebounds, four assists, four blocks and three steals.

Sophomore Jared Lucas was the only other Beav in double digits scoring with 10 points.

Meanwhile, for the Utes, Timmy Allen (24 points) and Branden Carlson (16) were the only Utah players with more than six points.

Oregon State’s bench outscored the Utes 13-6, with Lahat Thioune scoring all six points for the Utes bench unit.

With the 74-56 win, the Beavs now sit at No. 7 in the Pac-12 standings, behind Arizona by 0.5 games and ahead of Utah by half a game.
