UPDATE: time/channel change as Beavers set to face Florida in Vegas Bowl

UPDATE: Oregon State’s game against Florida in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl Dec. 17 has officially been moved to an 11:30 a.m. PT start time. The game will also now air on ESPN. The time change is a result of the Las Vegas Raiders NFL game on Sunday, Dec. 18 being flexed to an earlier time, leaving a shorter window to prepare Allegiant Stadium for the NFL game following the Las Vegas Bowl

The Oregon State Beavers will take on the Florida Gators in the 2022 Vegas Bowl, it was announced Sunday.

The Beavers are playing in their second bowl game in as many years, after an eight-year drought. Last season, Oregon State fell in the Jimmy Kimmel L.A. Bowl to Utah State.

While last season, fans were just happy to see the Beavers in a bowl game, Oregon State took another step this year. With a win, the Beavers would have their first 10-win season since 2006. Oregon State also knocked off rival Oregon this year, 38-34.

The Florida Gators finished 6-6 this season, good for 4th place in the SEC East. They did manage to beat Pac-12 champion Utah in their season opener.
