Baseball is Back; Player’s Union Accepts MLB Health, Safety Protocols

Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred announced on Tuesday night baseball will return on July 23 or 24. Teams will report to camps July 1.
The Players Association officially accepting the league’s health and safety protocols paved the way for the season to finally begin.
All remaining issues have been resolved and Players are reporting to training camps.

The season will be 60 games and will “largely feature divisional play” with the other games being based on region to “mitigate travel”. So, the AL West plays the NL West, the AL Central matches up with the NL Central and the AL East battles the NL East.
