AP Top-25 Preseason Women’s Basketball Poll Announced, Ducks No. 10 and Beavers No. 18

The first women’s college basketball AP Top-25 preseason poll was announced on Tuesday morning, landing both the Ducks and Beavers in the top-20.
Oregon slid into the top-10 at No. 10, fourth in the Pac-12 behind No. 2 Stanford, No. 7 Arizona, and No. 9 UCLA.
No. 10 is the third-highest preseason ranking in the program’s history. The Ducks were No. 1 in the AP poll for the first time in program history to open the 2019-20 season after kicking off its 2018-19 Final Four run with a No. 3 national ranking. The Ducks opened 2017-18 at No. 11, the first of now four straight preseason top-15 rankings.
