The Oregon Ducks slipped five spots to No.16 in the latest AP Top-25 poll released Tuesday.
The Ducks opened the preseason ranked No.11, but after Saturday’s gut-wrenching loss to Auburn they give way to Utah as the top-ranked Pac-12 team.
The Utes beat BYU on the road in their opener and are ranked No.13. Washington cruised by Eastern Washington and remain at No.14 where they opened the preseason. Washington State jumps one spot to No.22 and Stanford rises a couple spots to No.23 after beating Northwestern on the farm.
Arizona State received four votes for the Top-25 and USC received one vote.
There is no change to the top-five as Clemson leads the way followed by Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Ohio State.
