Oregon State women’s basketball was a fixture in the AP Top 25 Poll for four years before dropping out of the poll on Monday.

The Beavs lost their only game last week to Washington State, which was enough for the voters to kick them out of the Top 25. OSU held a spot in the AP Poll from Dec. 19, 2016 until Dec. 21, 2020.

The Beavs held the seventh-longest active streak before Monday, including 76 straight weeks in the AP Top 25. Sadly, that streak is over.

As for Oregon, the women’s basketball team technically dropped a spot after they were tied for No. 7 with Baylor. Last week, both the Ducks and Bears had 544 points, but this week Oregon is one point behind Baylor (558 to 557).

The Duck women won their only game last week, against Washington (73-49). Also, Oregon beat Washington State in a thriller on Monday.

Finally, Oregon men’s basketball rejoined the Top 25 after dropping out last week.

The Ducks beat San Francisco (74-64) and the University of Portland (80-41) and then checked in at the end of the poll, No. 25.
