After Unsurprising Dominant Win, OSU Beavers Face A Tougher Test On Saturday

By 750 The Game Staff

The Beavs are 2-0 after another dominant showing in Week 2, this time a 55-7 win over UC Davis of the FCS ranks.

John Canzano gave his thoughts on the commanding win on Monday’s radio show as OSU football is feeling good from a win and finally playing in front of Beaver Nation in the renovated Reser Stadium.

“At Oregon State, the story on Saturday was the grand re-opening of Reser Stadium. A lot of pride from people in Corvallis and that $161 Million project,” said Canzano.

“Oregon State still looks good, and again, playing less-than competition with UC Davis, a much bigger test coming this week for the Beavers in San Diego State. But I expect Oregon State, and Oregon, to both be 3-0, get through the non-conference games unscathed.”

The Beavers host Brady Hoke and the Aztecs on Saturday at 12:30 p.m., televised on FS1.

Listen to Canzano’s comments on the Beavs at the 1:25:00 mark of the podcast below.
