The saga is almost over for Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers made his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee show and announced that his intention is to play for the New York Jets next season. And that the only holdup was compensation in return back to Green Bay for the former MVP. Rodgers said he had known about the decision since Friday, but when he went on his darkness retreat that he was leaning 90% towards retiring. Then when he came out it was clear that teams were interested. Rodgers also went on to say that the Packers were ready to move on from him and go with former first round pick, Jordan Love, at quarterback. Rodgers said he has a lot of love and admiration for Green Bay but he is excited to play for New York. The Jets now have the 6th best odds in the NFL to win the Super Bowl at +1400.
