More from the club’s press release:
The Portland Timbers announced today that all of the team’s MLS regular season matches will be broadcast in both English and Spanish during the 2023 season. Returning for their 13th season, 750 The Game – the club’s longest-tenured broadcast partner – will carry Timbers matches in English. At the same time, La GranD (KGDD 93.5 FM, 1520 AM) begins its seventh season as Portland’s Spanish-language broadcast partner.
With 750 The Game, Fletcher Johnson returns for his 13th season and takes over the play-by-play duties joined by analyst Keith Bleyer, who is back for his 12th season as part of the club’s broadcast team. Newcomer Adam Susman will host the pregame and postgame show in his first full season with the Timbers. For Spanish radio broadcasts, Josue Del Castillo is back as the play-by-play announcer, working alongside Oscar Ramos as both begin their seventh season. Nikol Ramirez is in her third season as part of the broadcast team, serving as the host while also providing social media and digital content coverage.
As part of MLS Season Pass, fans in the US and Canada will also have the option to select the Timbers English-language radio feed for home games for their broadcast audio on the Apple TV app where available.
In addition to match broadcasts on 750 The Game, the station will also continue to air the club’s weekly program, “Talk Timbers,” each Wednesday night from 6-7 p.m. (Pacific) hosted by Jake Zivin and Judah Newby. “Talk Timbers” features interviews with coaches, players and club representatives and covers both Timbers and MLS news.
