2020 NFL Draft: First Round Recap

The 2020 NFL draft managed to live up to expectations, not an easy thing to do when sports content is at such a premium.

As expected LSU QB Joe Burrow went #1 overall to the Cincinnati Bengals:

There were questions about where Tua Tagovailoa would end up after his hip injury, but he ended up only waiting until the fifth pick:

Tua wasn’t the only player the Dolphins drafted with a difficult last name, however:

Ducks star Justin Herbert didn’t have to wait long for his name to be called. He ended up landing in a nice situation in L.A:

West coast offense, good leadership…that’s a nice landing spot for a young quarterback.

One surprise was the Seattle Seahawks going with Texas Tech LB Jordyn Brooks:

All in all, there wasn’t a ton of intrigue. But it sure did take a while:
