Coming off a First Kick win against Philadelphia at home last week, the Portland Timbers traveled to Texas to take on an FC Dallas team that easily dispatched the Timbers in their last meeting, 4-0.

The first 25 minutes were rough for the Timbers, as the team gave up a goal to FC Dallas' Blas Perez. Defender Rodney Wallace and Midfielder Jack Jewsbury both drew yellow cards in the first 13 minutes of play. In the remainder of the first half, the Timbers fought hard to even up the score. While they were close on several occasions, the Timbers went into the half down 1-0.

Darlington Nagbe helped the Timbers even up the score at 1-1 in the 51st minute. There was a lot of back and forth between the two teams after the Timbers' tying goal, but neither team would find the net again as the game ended in a 1-1 draw. The Timbers improve their record to 1-0-1.

The Timbers ended the game with three shots on goal, and 12 shots overall.

The game was hard fought and physical, as indicated by the Timbers' 16 fouls and two yellow cards. FC Dallas added 13 fouls and a yellow card of their own.

The Timbers take on the New England Revolution on March 24. Here every second of every Timbers game here on 750AM The Game!
