John Spencer ready for the 2012 season

The Portland Timbers open the 2012 season at Jeld-Wen against Philadelphia to kick off the MLS season. John Spencer rolled off the pitch and onto the phone with John Canzano on 750 The Game. Canzano and Spencer had a spirited conversation about newly acquired Kris Boyd and how he has made an immediate impact on the Timbers’ offense. Spencer also talked about his expectations for this season and whether he thinks the Timbers have become a more physical team. He previewed the Timbers' season opener against the Philadelphia Union. Finally, he commented on the status of Futty Danso after he injured his foot.
