Remembering Joe Avezzano

Former sports editor of The Oregonian Jeff Wohler joined the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano for a touching segment. Wohler spoke about the life of former Oregon State Beavers head coach Joe Avezzano who recently passed away. Wohler was able to give insight as to what Joe Avezzano gave the football world. Wohler and Canzano talk about how Joe Avezzano traveled to Italy to coach American football to a culture that embraces soccer as it’s National sport. Wohler also touched on the fact that Avezzano was a gifted special teams coach and was rewarded winning Super Bowl rings with the Dallas Cowboys.
