Mr. No-No: Spencer pitches a no-hitter

Last night, the Oregon Ducks unleashed their pitching phenom on the Portland Pilots. The result was history in the making for a baseball program only in its third season since being reinstated in 2009.Jordan Spencer, Oregon Ducks pitcher, joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about his no-hitter. The Beaverton native gave the Ducks their first no-hitter in the program’s history.

Jordan describes how he felt right before he got his final out and his first career no-hitter. He explains his philosophy for throwing the perfect pitch. Jordan then explains why his teammates were so critical to his success. He talks about why he chose to play baseball at the University of Oregon. He discusses how also playing water polo keeps him in better condition to play pitch.
