Matt Brock joins Chad on the MSP

After a standout career at the University of Oregon, Matt Brock played seven seasons in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers and the New York Jets. He joined Chad on The Morning Sports Page Wednesday to chime in about the NBA Finals and preview the upcoming college football season.
Brock began by giving praise to the Heat. He said he had no idea the team defense was as good as it has been. As great as Lebron and Wade have been in the series versus the Thunder, Brock admits that he thinks it’s the team defense and the role players stepping up that have been the reason for the Heat’s success. He asserts that the star players will get their points, it’s whether the rest of the team can get 30-40 points that will decide whether the Heat win or lose.
Chad and Brock also talked about the Roger Clemens perjury trial. Brock was very annoyed with the way the whole process has played out – Not just with Clemens but with everyone who has stood trial. He said the entire process has been a waste of time and money for everyone involved. In the five years of investigations and trials, the only person to be found guilty of anything was Bonds who got charged with obstruction of justice. His punishment…probation and 30 days of house arrest.
Brock also previewed the Ducks upcoming football season. He asserts that he expects big things from the Ducks. As great as the offense has been the last few years and will undoubtedly be this year, he believes the strength of this year’s squad is going to be the defense.
Take a listen as Chad and Brock talk about his football glory days and each give their expectations of the upcoming season.
