Jeff Garlin is best known for his role as Jeff Green in the HBO hit comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm.  He joined Chad in the Afternoon Thursday to talk about what it’s like to work for such a successful show.

Garlin maintains that it's great to be able to work with a guy like Larry David because he always make you laugh.

“It’s pretty great from the standpoint of most shows suck, so, to be able to work with somebody like Larry David who is consistently funny, is really…I’m crazy lucky.

Garlin also talked about what it's like to be a Chicago sports fan.

“Being a Chicago sports fan…It’s actually great because we have all the teams.  And you know except for this year…and last year…and a lot of other years, the Cubs are terrible.”

Garlin will be performing his stand-up show at the McMenamins Mission Theatre in Portland on Friday.  Tickets are $28 if you buy them in advance and $30 if you buy them at the door. And if today’s interview is any indication of what he has planned for tomorrow, you are not going to want to miss it.
