Our favorite southern gentleman, SEC Guy, joined us on The
Morning Sports Page Monday to bless us with his southern charm.
Dr. Kogslotter started out reminiscing about the trip he took to Oregon last year. Well, sort of…He actually said that the longer he’s been away from the Northwest, the more he releases he didn’t like it. One of his big put offs is the Jesus sandals that are worn so prevalently. He said he doesn’t understand why every time he went outside over here, he had to see a man’s feet.
Dr. Kogslotter also suggests that Nike was not actually founded by Phil Knight because God would not give a man from the Northwest that type of power. Instead, Knight’s Nike idea was stolen from a man in Georgia.
The good doctor also dropped some knowledge about the comments made by Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin a couple weeks back. He said that Vanderbilt hiring its coaches based on the looks of their wives' suggests that the team is finally trying to compete with the big boys in the south.
The doctor also gives some expert insight into this year’s presidential election. He admits that he’s not high on either of the main candidates because as he states, “One guy’s trying to steal his money, and the other guy’s trying to steal his wife.”
This is just a taste of some of the great stuff Dr. Kogslotter talked about today. Be sure to listen to the entire interview because it gets so much better.
