The MLB postseason has started and the excitement is not lacking as baseball has had a resurgence in popularity due in large part to Miguel Cabrera winning the triple crown. MLB Hall of Famer Andre Dawson joine the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about his career and the game of baseball.

Andre Dawson got his start in the big leagues with the Montreal Expos becoming an All-Star before moving on to the Chicago Cubs. Dawson and Canzano talk about breaking in with Montreal.

"I felt that in an effort to extend my playing career it was a must that I get off the artificial playing surface" said Andre when talking about leaving the Expos.

Andre and John talked about his playing career in which Andre played at a high level from beginning to the end when he retired from the MLB.

"It wasn't a monetary issue it was about getting somewhere where I felt I would be appreciated a little bit more" Dawson said when going from Montreal to Chicago.

Dawson and Canzano continued to discuss baseball and Dawson's latest book "If You Love This Game".
