for many years in San Diego/AP

May 2, 2012, 5:28 pm

The sports world was dealt a blow as news came to light of the death of former NFL All-Pro Junior Seau. Seau died from a gunshot wound to the chest in California. One of Seau’s former head coaches, Bobby Ross joined John Canzano on The Bald Faced Truth to comment and give perspective on the life and death of Junior Seau. Ross talked about the tragedy and also talked about the kind of person Junior was. Ross and Canzano talked about the Chargers Super Bowl team from the 1994 season and how Junior’s death makes it the 8th person from that team to have died. Ross talked about the intensity and passion Junior shared in the locker room and on the field and in life after football.

Bobby Ross comments on suicide and other former players that have taken their lives. Canzano asks Ross whether or not concussions may be a factor in brain damage of the former players that have committed suicide. Where did Ross get his start in coaching? How many grandchildren does Ross have? Click on the link below for this emotional interview found exclusively on 750 The Game.
