Addi Wedin is only nine-years-old, but she is already a better basketball player than Shaq—or at least when it comes to shooting free throws. Among eight and nine-year-old girls, this young prodigy has the finest shot in the nation. National Free Throw Champion Addi Wedin joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about her shooting skills. A student at Happy Valley Elementary, Addi is the first free throw champion from Oregon since 1980.

Addi talks about how she felt shooting free throws in a national completion sponsored by the Elks Club. She discusses her young basketball career and how she discovered she was so good at shooting from the charity stripe. Addi also discusses who taught her how to shoot the perfect free throw. She then gives the audience advice on how to improve our shooting form.
