John Canzano is the host of "The Bald-Faced Truth" radio show on Portland's 750-AM.Canzano has also been named National Sports Columnist of the Year by the Associated Press Sports Editors, the Press Club of Atlantic City and Society of Professional Journalists. He's worked at six different newspapers as a reporter and columnist, including a stop in which he covered Indiana University basketball under coach Bob Knight as a beat reporter.
He was named the nation's top investigative sports reporter in 2002 for a piece he wrote on Carlos Rodriguez, a 22-year old Dominican-born transfer student who was masquerading as a 16-year old California basketball star.

Canzano founded The Bald Faced Truth Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization that aims to fund extracurricular activities for kids. The foundation offers grants to children who hope to participate in the areas of arts, music, drama, education, athletics and other enriching extra-curricular activities.
