Huston talks the Heisman

Guest host on the BFT Bernard Bokenyi was joined today by National College Football writer for cbssports.com Chris Huston. Chris came on the show to give a bit of perspective on the upcoming college football season.

Bernard opened with Huston talking about the possible Heisman players on Chris' Preseason watch list. While Huston's pick may be Matt Barkley, players like De'Anthony Thomas may turn out to be sleeper hits.

"De'Anthony Thomas is somebody who can make fantastic scintillating plays on the field that sort of capture the imagination of voters"

Chris also talked about the Ducks vs. USC, and gave his thoughts on what makes USC his pick to lead the Pac-12.

"There's just nobody in the league that can cover Mark Easley and Robert Woods. Until there's a pair of corners, or even one corner that can show they can cover those guys, I think USC is going to be unbeatable out west"

Huston and Bernard also covered the Notre Dame uniform change, and discussed what Notre Dame needs to do to be a competitive team once again. Listen to the interview below:
