Gould captures Olympic Bronze!

2012 London Olympic bronze medalist in mountain biking, Georgia Gould joined the Bald Faced Truth producer Chop to discuss her career and how it has changed since taking home the bronze.

Georgia has been national champion for a number of years, but one award has escaped her so far, and that is the World Championship. However, come September 8th in Austria, she will get her next shot.

"The Olympic race really motivated me, and just boosted my confidence going into the World Championship."

After coming so close on the most recent World Cup races, Georgia had something to prove, and was ready to medal.

"I knew that I had the form of winning a big international race. It was just the question of everything coming together, and not having any kind of mechanical error. Just having that little bit of luck that everybody needs."

Looks like that little bit of luck paid off as Georgia was one of only fifteen USA bronze medalists this year. [Listen to the rest of Georgia's interview below.]
