Chad Buchanan / The Oregonian

May 8, 2012, 5:20 pm

It has been almost a year since the Blazers fired Rich Cho as the team’s general manager. Ben Golliver, NBA writer for CBS Sports and Blazer’s Edge, joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about the Blazers’ GM search. Ben believes a new Blazer general manager could be named within the next few weeks.

Ben talks about the hope from all Blazer fans that this GM search could soon be over. He speculates what it means that potential candidates are already interviewing with Paul Allen. He comments on the poor process the Blazers used to find a new GM and why it was doomed from the start. Ben then talks about why Chad Buchanan seems to be sabotaging his chances to be the next GM. He also explains how the Blazers have been adversely affected by Paul Allen’s bad leadership.
