Jairus Byrd / AP

April 26, 2012, 3:06 pm

In only three seasons, Jairus Byrd has already accomplished more than many defensive players do in their entire career. Jairus Byrd, Buffalo Bills free safety, joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about the NFL Draft and the Oregon Ducks. Besides recording nine interceptions in his rookie campaign, he was also selected to play in the Pro Bowl.

Jairus talks about his father Gill Byrd, former NFL cornerback and current Chicago Bears assistant coach. He discusses how his father has impacted his football career and how he has helped him improve his game. Jairus also explains why he and his father have started the Legacy Experience Father/Son Program. He then compares the level of difficulty of playing in the NFL versus playing in the Pac-10.
