Portland Trail Blazers interim head coach Kaleb Canales joined Brian Wheeler on the Bald Face Truth. "Wheels" is guest hosting for John Canzano who is getting ready to cover the Olympics in London. Canales and Wheels talk about the possibility of becoming a permanent head coach of the Blazers. Canales starts off by recapping the NBA Summer League. He believes that the Summer League gave plenty of opportunity to teach the new players and for them to make adjustments on the court and in their development. Canales wishes summer league was five games longer so they could've given players at the end of the bench more floor time and to show what they’ve got to offer the organization.

Canales would like to move past the recent firing of old head coach Nate McMillan and concentrate on the upcoming season by getting the Blazers even more in tune with each other and as a team. Canales prepared the Blazers as much as possible for the upcoming season. Here's Kaleb talking with Brian Wheeler on 750 The Game.
