After last night’s loss to the Phoenix Suns, the Blazers were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. However, as the sun set on the Blazers’ post-season hopes, Jamal Crawford was already looking ahead to next season. Blazers guard Jamal Crawford joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to discuss his plans for the future. Then the Columbian’s Blazers beat writer Matt Calkins also joins Canzano to talk about his profile of Luke Babbitt and Crawford's post-game comments.

A mini-controversy erupted after it was reported that Jamal wanted to leave Portland, but was he really just joking? Jamal responds to allegations that he wants to relocate to Phoenix. He claims that he was merely joking around with Suns coach Alvin Gentry. He comments on his time in Portland and whether he enjoyed it here. He also recaps his career and talks about which teams he has been most successful with in the NBA. Jamal then looks to the future and discusses how the Blazers can build a contender for next year.

With the departure of Gerald Wallace, Luke Babbit has been thrust into the spotlight. Matt talks about how Luke Babbitt has performed with more playing time and if Luke enjoys being known as the “Chalupa man.” Matt analyzes Babbitt’s three-point skills and his development as a perimeter shooter. He also talks about Jamal Crawford’s personality on and off the basketball court and predicts if Crawford will be in Portland in 2013.
