Portland Trailblazers Interim Coach Kaleb Canales joins the Sports Insider to talk with fill in host Brian Wheeler to talk all things Blazers and other NBA news.

Wheels brings up the many Blazers Draft Workouts and what Kaleb looks for in the players that come through. Kaleb talks about putting the prospects in game situations to see how they could play in the NBA. He then talks about really focusing on competition in the workouts and the drills that the players go through to find out more about them.

Wheels then asks about how quickly things have moved in Kaleb life since he was named interim coach in February. Kaleb mentions how he really hasn’t been able to take time to realize that he is the coach of the team. Canales talks about how he coached the season and then went right into the draft, working with new GM Neil Olshey, and making decisions on who he is going to draft.
